Endlessly fascinated by the colour, shape and sheen of minerals and gemstones, Kathryn designs pieces that are pretty, wearable and unique. Each has a story and a name rooted in the Canadian context, evoking people, places, seasons, and even memories. A cottage near Bancroft, with its famous annual gem show, are contributing to her ever-increasing stash of future projects. Kathryn has presented her work at Christmas in the Valley and the Maple Run Studio Tour and Art In The Attic for several years, as well as through private commissions and shows.
