Artcore Décor

We are both concerned about the environment and society’s shift from quality to quantity. Paula believes in treading lightly because Heaven is underfoot and Lynn likes to feel the earth move under her feet. Artcore Décor is a means of being creative in all of its colours, shapes and media by upcycling, reusing and rescuing items from the landfill.

Art history

Lynn studied Fine Arts at Algonquin College in the early seventies and spent ten years painting and drawing. She also enjoys photography. Paula started out in the Graphic Arts Industry and then moved on to designing and screen printing T-shirts as well fine art.

Our Story

Paula is presently working part time at a waste site, which created the spark for this new endeavour. Lynn moved to the Tatlock area in 1985 and lived in a school bus for nine years while building a unique octagonal log home. She has recently retired from the Federal Government and is currently focusing on Artcore Décor.

Favourite things

Exploring the woods, swimming, floating and looking up at the clouds, a calm mind, canoeing, cross country skiing, family and friends, laughing, our original home decor business.

Our dreams

Lynn is living it and works on being healthy in body, mind and spirit. Paula is building her dream in the side yard. Come on Thanksgiving weekend to check it out.
