147 Linn Bower Lane, Clayton
This centre is a community (the Clayton Recreational Association) owned, operated and funded facility. There are three historical murals donated by local artists on the outside front of the building and one of the back wall of the stage depicting the original community hall. It is flanked on either side by the original two Clayton streetlights that were donated in 1913 by the Clayton Womens’ Institute. The Clayton Recreation Association has been in existence since 1921, a testament to the community spirit in a small rural village!
