Pauline Marshall

Pauline Marshall retired, moved to Almonte in 2010, and quickly got interested in the art scene in the beautiful town.

“I started painting in 2017 and quickly found that I really enjoyed it.  I wanted to get more serious about painting so I took some courses with local artists (Adrian Baker, Mary Pratt), and read everything I could that would help hone my skills.”

Marshall use brushes and painting knives to produce vividly coloured, textural landscapes in acrylics, painting mostly flowers, fields and still lives.

Over the last few years, she has displayed her art at Taste Blooms in Carleton Place as well as Tea & Cake in Almonte and has had success selling her work in the area.
