Shawn grew up in Lanark County, Ontario and has worked extensively on health issues in rural and remote parts of Canada and the world. His experience working in rural and remote areas has a significant influence on his art. Shawn is a mixed media artist and sculptor. Shawn challenges himself to use innovative techniques and develop original and unique mixed media art. In Shawn’s art collection, you will see a range of media, such as found objects, original photographs, fabric, paper, pigment ink and acrylic paint. Many of the art pieces are on custom wood canvases made by Shawn’s father.
